Bridgend County Show

    Hi Everyone,

    For everyone in Wales. Bridgend Show is taking place 9,10 and 11th July at Pencoed College, Bridgend.

    There will be a horse show, craft tents, food tents, fair ground rides, lots of stalls, displays and of course a companion/limit dog show.

    Please take a look at the website and we hope you can come and enjoy a day out

    The dog show will be Sunday 11th July, entries taken from 12 o clock, judging starts 2pm. Classes include, fancy dress, junior handler, best crossbreed, prettiest bitch and many more.

    Would do, however it's a 3 hour drive from my Oh's so it's a no go :(

    ohhhh sounds interesting, reckon i might pop along. i`ve not looked at the actual web page cause i`m on my phone and this may be a dumb question but are dogs allowed to come if they`re not entering into the show?

    Yes Leah, thats fine.

    Its over the 3 days, the dog show is on teh sunday, you can enter on the day though until 1.30.

    Theres loads to do there, craft tects, food tents, fair rides, trade stalls, rockwood dog display, bird display, loads!

    so what day is everyone going?? sunday i`d assume but it`d be nice to meet up with people from here. thanks tashi, i`ll be bringing my mad banjo with me then :)

    I got my weekend off work booked for the 4th July for the Dog's Trust open day. I've never been before so can't wait to go :D:D:D

    Oh this is great, tell all your family/friends too.

    I guess the Sunday would be best as thats the dog show day.

    Its £6 per adult to get in.

    Ill be there for the 3 days with a Puppy farming stall, so say hello if you see us.

    Also, Im going to the DT Open day too, Ill be there with a puppy farming stall to so do pop along and say hello

    I've been informed by the organisers.

    It £6 per adult to get into the show

    buts its free entry if you enter 3 or more dog classes.

    Hope eveyone enjoyed the dog show, be good to hear your views. I was very involved in stewarding horse section so didnt get to see dog show. Weather smiled on us for a change and seemed a lovely atmosphere at showground. very tired now long day out in the sun:):)
