    hey,

I've never had a male cat and we'll be taking one home soon. Last night my mother was saying "Boy cats like to go out you know, how will you keep him in?":scared:

This has now worried me as I didn't know this and worried about keeping him in if he hates it! I really can't afford a cat run and can't bare to let him out after losing 2 to the outside world.:crying:

I thought he would be ok chilling inside..

So whats the difference in male and female cats with their characteristics?

my boy is petrified of going outdoors in fact my old boy would slice me up if i tried to take him out but then both mine were neutered at like 5 months so that might be why

Depends on the cat it can be done earlier but are vet said to wait till Louie is 9 months old as because he is a MC but he cant get out of the back yard & they take longer to mature if ever  Scutter & Casper were was done at 3 or 4 months I think.
