    Good evening everyone!
I have a 17 weeks old kitten and today while he was cleaning himself down below, I have noticed that he has a blood crust (almost black as the color of the blood when it dries and forms a scab) around his penis area. I’m sure he didn’t have it before. the only thing is that we change litter recently and I was thinking it might have been that causing some irritation. It’s a clumping litter and it’s just a bit dusty. I’m going to bring him to the vet tomorrow, I took appointment already. Just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and if you have any advice. Anyway he eating, pooing and peeing alright and he is playing as normal. I’m really worried at the moment and I hope everything will be fine.
Thank you very much in advance for any advice

I’d ring the vet in the morning.

Is he weeing ok? I would check with a vet , he could have a urine infection which can lead to a blockage.

I really hope you are right! He looks ok, he is playing, exploring around and everything as normal! But I’m worried anyway!
