Photos taken at RSPB Minsmere
Fantastic shots. We’re you in the Bittern hide at Minsmere?
NB. For those that don’t know the bittern hide does exist there but you don’t always see a bittern
The showy bittern is at Island Mere hide
What a stunner. Amazing shots, thank you for sharing. I'd love to visit Minsmere one day.
Great shots. I've only ever seen one. That was at a local river and flood plains
Did you see her?????
The bittern was apparently a female
You know they've got more then one there don't you
Seen a fair few over the years at Minsmere, another good place is Ham Wall near Glastonbury in Somerset.
When we're staying at our static in the spring I often here them booming in the early morning.
I hope so or she’s going to be a lonely bittern
Wow! Super Bittern shots, Steve
