To be honest, I had absolutely no idea what you were on about, but a quick trip to Youtube sorted it. ;)

    I love the bear!

He represents that strange thought or obsession that only seems to enter your mind once you're past the age of 30. Very Ally McBeal (which again was only something I truly appreciated as I got older).

The bear is our conscience...guiding us and reprimanding us.

He is the voice that tells us rollercoasters aren't safe anymore, and that lifts/elevators might just get stuck. He tells us that bunjee jumps are for the foolhardy and sky dives for the insane. He even makes us think about the horrors of being stuck on the motorway if we leave at the wrong time.

Very clever advert for my age group. We all have our own bear.

    :D

 And there was me thinking he was just a creepy fridge bear :yikes:

I find him even more sinister now I know he's got a genuine purpose *shudder*

I never want to reach fridge bear age :(

LOL Em. I am smiling right now. :D

"Fridge bear age" sneaks up on you so quickly, that you literally don't know where it came from. I'm 33. At 21 I jumped out of a plane 12,000ft above the sky in New Zealand. Nowadays, you'd find me asking the attendant at Alton Towers, "When was this rollercoaster last safety tested please?"

I travelled the world without a care 10 years ago. Nowadays I won't even book a local hotel without checking the online reviews for cleanliness and customer service.

I'm not sure when it happened, it just did. It's like one day you wake up and find stuff much scarier than you did the day before. For instance, I am totally aware that if I go to town drinking with mates on a Saturday night, I need to be conscious that a 19 year old drunken prat might be carrying a knife as we leave the club and he's in my face. 10 years ago I was rather more concerned with how on earth I would be paying for a taxi home if I didn't find a party.

The bear is quite nice. He brings you comfort and a feeling of being wiser. He also lets you look back and feel you've achieved something, even if you have turned into the very type of person you said you never wanted to become! LOL :D
