i was just wondering what everyones opinion is on when to get their dog castrasted? Is it better once they have matured or in the early stages of 10-11 months?

I would say once the dog has matured if you can wait that long.

However me got Zipper 'done' early and he has had no ill effects, although he is a small dog so would of probably finisged growing.
The reason Zipper was done early is that he humped mensturating teenage girls - and as I have 3 teenage daughters plus all thier friends in the house he was in an excited state most of the time and the girls were very embarrased. So for my family it was best to have him done early.

Oh dear! I have noticed that some dogs take an unhealthy interest at certain times though, and they are often very persistent with their sniffing in certain places. It is so embarrassing isnt it?:blush2:
