My 2 year old Berber skink hasn’t been eating for a week and a bit now and he’s recently become more inactive. He’s been having crickets and since he’s not eaten I’ve got him some locust. I’m recently become very worried and need some help.

Hey, I have a gecko so no idea about Berber skinks but my gecko goes through phases of losing interest in food. However, if this has continued since your post I would go to a specialist exotics vet. I had to take my boy in last week as he has lost a lot of weight and turns out he has liver disease (but he is an old guy now). He is now getting meds and supplement and wax worms to try to fatten him up. Hope your little dude is OK.

Thank you! I have tried him now with locust and he seems to be loving them a lot more. I was probably a bit too paranoid because he’s fine now and he shed recently too! Thank you for your response and I hope your gecko is gonna get better!
