    Just read an email from a very close friend telling me her beloved whippet Ben (Banner) had just died of heart failure. I know he was elderly (and the last survivor of his litter!), but, as she said, he was the last link with three dear people she has lost over the last few years - her mother, her husband, Evan, and her only child, Andria, who died of melanoma, and was stunningly beautiful.

    Thankfully, she has two young whippets (who are REALLY naughty:D) to keep her on her toes, but I know just how much Ben meant to her for the above reasons.

    My best friend has just had their 16 year old Whippet pts and their hearts are broken also.

    Sorry for your friends loss xx
