Hello everyone
hope to gain valuable advice from new aquaintances via the forum. I have a jack russell cross called Bella who has just been diagnosed with a form of blood trouble whereby her white cells are destroying her red cells. Similar i suppose to Leaukemia altho' the vet has not said it is, yet. She is currently receiving a large dose of steroids with medication to counteract the runs which are a side effect.
of the steroids. Fingers crossed for her. she is a rescue with a horrid start in life
and I think she will be approx. 8 years old. Cheers for now

thanks for messages. Good news!!! Bella's blood test yesterday showed improvement in blood count so reduction in steroid dose marginally. She is much brighter generally and is now eating a small amount of boiled chicken with rice added. Visit vet again not until FRIDAY!! Hurrah.
