Belgian Malinois/Lurcher cross, 7mo old male needing new home

Our Bucky is a wonderful dog who is very obedient (although his adolescence is definitely in full swing right now!) and well trained for his age. He loves to be outdoors and play with other dogs and people. Unfortunately, his resource guarding has turned to aggression and biting and he is no longer suitable as a family pet.

I would love for him to have a new home where can be put to work as I think he would thrive in such an environment and that would also minimise the chance that he hurts anyone, because he truly is a soft soul. View attachment 597674

It;s against forum rules to offer animals for sale/rehoming and irresponsible and dangerous to offer one with agression and bite history.
Please contact a breed specific rescue organisation so he van be properly assessed and if possible, rehomed safely.

Hi both

I wasn't necessarily suggesting that any old person takes him. I was hoping to get suggestions of places that may take him because I have rang or contacted everywhere that I can find myself. New Dawn Rescue have already said they are full sadly.
Have you approached the breeder? They have a responsibilty for all pups born in their care.
Also check with your vet to see if they know anywhere. How about Dogs'Trust?

We have contacted the people we got him from, but I was not aware they bore any responsibility. Could you expand on that for me or provide me a source to read about it?
The vets have not been very helpful and Dog's Trust have no space
It's an ethical responsibilty rather than a legal one. Unfortunately, as @Lurcherlad said , your dog's breeder is unlikely to be an ethical one.
