... will I ever be as happy as a Springer with a hose?
Bless her she really is enjoying that Mine love swimming but they don't like the hose. Love her face in the last but one photo.
Its one way of getting a look at her pearly white gnashers
Aww she's so enjoying that
Aww she is having a great time there! Holly loves the 'jet' setting on the hose. It's literally her favourite thing and whenever I go towards the area of the garden where the hose is kept she always looks hopeful that it might get switched on!
Haha, amazing pictures..bless her. She is absolutely loving that. My youngest Wolfhound loves the hose when its on a spray like that - the older one scarpers lol
fab photos. my three love their paddling pools but run if they see the hose.
Pheebs will play in any type of water. I'm sure she's part fish.
I love her cheeky face in that pic
Lol might suggest a hose the next time the vet tries to look in her mouth
Our hose sometimes hisses and sputters on the jet setting so Pheebs doesn't trust it at all She'll dance around woowooing until I change it to the spray or mist settings for her.
The older one has more sense
Paddling pools are a favourite here too. Great for keeping her cool during the day, but not so great when I forget to close the gate of the dog run and she dives into the pool for a splash around at midnight
Mine looks and runs away from hose- shame as it would have been great to cool down
Lovely pics, we don't know yet if Emma likes water, might get her a paddling pool to see,if not I can sit in it
I'd recommend the little plastic paddling pool you can see in the first few pics. It's brilliant. We started off with just an inch of water, a few toys and some treats. Now we can't keep her out of it
could I ask where you got that one please, it looks a lot more stable than some I've seen
Got it in Argos.. they don't do the same one anymore but this is the same make and style
Excellent will check them out, thank you
No. But being with a springer who is enjoying a hosepipe is probably the next best thing.
(Bonnie thinks she is terribly brave though...doesn't she realise that hosepipes are deadly monsters and you need to run away from them as fast as possible?)
Have you read the reviews of the pool? Think they've mostly been sold to people with dogs. not many mentions of children. Maybe Chad Valley should bring out a dog range of stuff.
One for ducks too LOL
Aww I'm sure Pheebs would love to show Bonnie the fun that can be had with a hosepipe.. No scary hose monsters here! You might regret it the next time you're trying to water your garden though!
That's a good idea! Maybe we could bombard them with emails requesting dog stuff until they give in to public demand
