Was anyone else at Moulton today? We went along to our first ever open show...it was an experience. We met Bessiedog (and her owner) which was really nice, Bess is beautiful.

Phoebe was delighted with herself for getting VHC in the 6-11 YKC Young Handler Class, against some very very professional youngsters with experienced dogs. We then had a (very) long wait until the Irish Setter Junior class. Our dog was also tired, hungry, ready to go home, and wasn't at her best, so took third in a class of three, but we were just pleased to go home with another rosette!

We are now planning our next round of Open shows....handler and owner have got the showing bug, and handler wants to get to Crufts...!

Nice to meet you too! And very well done for your first show!

Bess got very bored waiting around, so wasn't the best behaved. But I was delighted that she got VHC in Post Grad - and wasn't last! She was also third out of three in Open, but she'd really had enough by then.

Considering she's still out of coat I was really pleased to get placed.
