[Collie1]

each day our puppy stands and barks at us for seemingly no reason.

He has been walked 3 times last one about 2 hours ago it was 45 min walk off lead run.

He was played with

He has food and water

I just did 20 mins training with him

He's had his evening hump with the teddy

He is currently say barking at me I hve tried ignoring him he just carries on

I tried quiet and praising when he shut up but he then starts again

I am unsure what else to try? Any ideas

my dog does the same, i was thinking it may be a collie trait, i ignore blitz when he starts but it doesn't work either, so i could do with some advice too

Cali doesn't bark much but does make the oddest noises at us and shes a BC as the other poster suggested may be a collie thing
i would suggest just keep praising and treating when pup is calm and quiet

just out of interest, where does he sleep at night and does he bark when you are in bed?

No he goes to bed in our extension utility room - its a
Big room he has his bed in there.

He goes to bed 10pm every evening and you never hear a peep from him it's mostly around this time of an evening or occasionally in the day but that's when he's asking for attention I can tell the difference

He's like barking but almost as if he doesn't know why then he grabs his cuddly toy for a hump
Then he looks at me again - sometimes he won't hump Hel just sit and bark and bark

blitzen sleeps on my bedroom floor and doesn't bark when i am in bed but will bark in the bedroom after i've showered or when i'm getting dressed
