I’ve been sowing seeds dated 2016 and a few have grown so I’m planning to transplant them. I’ve been off line a lot which is helping, doing some tutorials on design and helping a friend solve a website problem. We are having a pub quiz online tomorrow and that’s about it. No plans to go anywhere at all. Weirdly still okay with lockdown, we haven’t changed since early March.

Well. I didn't think many people would be out on the hills with the threat of thunder and rain, so we headed for Graffam Down.
It was quite a climb to the top, but it was lovely up there and very few people, in fact none off the main path, on which we spent as little time as possible.
We will most definitely be going back soon, maybe take a picnic and do a longer walk. It's crisscrossed with footpaths :)

We’re still staying at home as much as possible, sorting out the gaps the the fencing and general puppy proofing..also trying to re-train the 11 year old boss of the house aka Ace that he wants to live on the worktop on the utility instead of under the dining table ready for when the boxer pup comes home...a couple of weeks in and he’s starting to get it...

Im still sorting out my summer clothes. I pack them away in the winter and now I have to first try them on to see if they fit and then iron them . They seem to get tighter every year, :D

Celebrating that we don't have any home schooling work to argue about and staying indoors/in the garden to avoid seeing any people!
We're also being made to take annual leave during the lockdown so this is one of my weeks off-meaning I'm not actually covering the bank holiday either.

Just did my usual 7 mile bike ride taking in 2 High Streets and it was all relatively quiet :)

Now hoping for the same from my neighbours ..... fat chance of that me thinks.

I dread bank holidays for exactly this reason. We have several retard families living close by who do just the same. This time, however, they've all had noise nuisance orders served on them after multiple complaints, so we will see.

I worry about the children making too much noise in the garden when the weather's nice and am constantly apologising-can't imagine how people think it's ok to have really loud music etc when it's so disruptive

I think consideration from all sides.

It’s great that kids are having fun in their garden - just no need for them to scream and shout (and particularly grizzle constantly) for hours on end.

Same with music - have it close by you in the garden so you can enjoy it but not blasting out all day and loud enough for the whole estate to hear.

Maybe don’t mow the grass or light a bonfire at 5pm on a balmy evening just as people might be sitting down to enjoy their bbq?

    ;)
