Hello ! Hope someone can help ? I found a baby house martin on the back doorstep 4 days ago , as we did not know which nest it had come from (there are so many) I put him in a box and to be honest did not expect him to survive ! Well 4 days later he's still here and doing really well getting stronger by the day! But what do I do when he's ready to go ? Any advice would be appreciated as he's a strong little chap and would like to do the best by him ! Many thanks

The link below might help it seems to be specifically about Swallows and Martins, including hand rearing and there seems to be info on release too

Only other thoughts have you checked to see where the nearest wildlife hospital is to you, they may be able to give you good advice or even take him and release him eventually.
