Hello,
I'm new to this forum.
My Son's talked me into getting an axolotl in May time.
I did lots of research first, and he is a great little thing.
When I got him, I forgot to ask his age at the petshop.
They said when he gets bigger he would need additional food, but I'm no sure what.
I feed him thawed frozen bloodworm cubes.
He started on 1/4 a day, then half, for the last 2 weeks he has 1 block a day.
A different pet shop (my local one) said bloodworms as an only food source is fine.
I'm not sure which advice is correct!!
Ill try to attach a couple of photos of him.
First image is from May in petshop.
Next 2 are from today.

Hi.

I don’t know much about axolotl, so I’ve had a quick google. Imagine having the same thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner, every day, for your entire life?

We can all get stuck in a rut sometimes, but I do think it’s best to offer some variety - at least once or twice a week.
