Thanks. I have so much trouble getting my camera to focus :(

It's such a cheapo camera and I just can't figure out why sometimes it will focus and others it won't

The one Butterfly I really wanted a picture of, as it's only the second one I've ever seen, I couldn't get it to focus :(

If you only have a cheapo camera Rona, then well done allround you certainly get some good shots.

Amazing photos, your 'cheapo' camera seems fine to me!!
What is the yellow butterfly called? I've never seen one like that.

UK Butterflies - Clouded Yellow - Colias croceus

Couldn't believe it, but I saw another today.

Nowhere near getting a photo this time though :(

Got some others that I'll put on later ;)

It was after some light nighttime rain and it was glistening in the morning sunlight :)

Please make sure the clouded yellow record gets to your county recorder. It's several years since I last saw one.

Would you believe I've seen 4 now?

Two today at my secret fields.

Sorry but what good does it do to tell these people, all that happens is a place gets invaded by people that want to just tick a name off their list that trample the the flora and harass the wildlife.

Seen it happen too many times to share my finds with all and sundry I'm afraid

My day didn't quite go as planned today. I'd walked the dog and was planning to head out for a very long walk with the camera on my own.
As I was sitting having breakfast I could hear a drip, drip, drip....there was water coming through my kitchen ceiling

Anyways, obviously couldn't go for a long walk, things to sort, but I seemed to time things to perfection, or the dog did ;)

Wandered over the playing field just over the way at lunchtime and came across this little beauty

And popped out late this afternoon to my fav two fields and managed to get this (and a few more :D)

That's a large Skipper. The colour is a bit pink because it was late afternoon light :)

UK Butterflies - Large Skipper - Ochlodes sylvanus

The clouded yellow picture was pure luck today. I was going to go on another path, but my dog insisted we take the path it was next too

Lovely photographs. And I couldn't take pictures like that if I had the best equipment in the world, I just don't "see" it, but I really appreciate those pictures though. :thumbup1:
