When I attach photos to threads they either come out tiny if I use the paperclip thingy above, or huge if I copy and paste from photobucket. How do people get normal size photos on here. I hope it's not too technical 'cos I'm rubbish at things like this so I need basic easy to follow instructions please!

Six months ago I could have told you how you resize pics on Photobucket in one sentence,it was that simple.
But it's all 'improved' now...I just looked on there, and under Frequently asked questions it mentions re sizing...I clicked on it and there are no further answers...So I gave up.

I use Imageshack now and to hell with bucket...it's a damn sight easier.

You can also resize pictures by using 'Paint'...that's not hard to follow.

PB is no longer easy, but I do know how to resize pics. I don't do them on PB now though. I do mine from my Panasonic app, then they go on PB.
On PB go into your home page, then click albums, scroll down & to upload options, click customise upload options. You should get a pop up
    like this...

which has different pic sizes on it, click the size you want & click save.

right click the picture, and click "copy image url" then paste it into the envelope icon in your reply box then say ok, it will look like just a link, until you submit your reply then it will show as a pic.

Ok, I did this and changed the size to 640 x 480 but it's still huge so not sure what I did wrong?

I right clicked and clicked 'copy image url' but when I right click on the envelope icon I don't get the option to paste?

lol ya knob.. once you click the envelope.. you right click again in the envelope bar, then click paste :D but if the pics large you still need to resize it first, thats just how you can get pics off google etc straight onto here without having to save first etc.

what you did was good, you just need to paste that into the envelope not straight into the post.
