Army and Police Dogs... Display

    Sunday we have been to a Dog Show which involved an army and police dog display...i thought i would share some piccies with u :D It was really awesome and what a great day that was....loved it, loved it, loved it :smilewinkgrin:

    I will post later on some random pics i made too hehe :D

    (photobucket seem to ruin the pic quality so excuse the blurryness ;) )

    Those Army Dogs go to Afghanistan this or next year and they will never return as they will stay there continuing their duty with the Afghans
    Attack Dog (attacks only the arms)

    Police Dog (this dog been back on duty for 3 weeks and caught already 13 criminals!)

    i love the dark sable GSD's :001_wub:

    i have always fancied doing the sport shutzhund as well :)

    shame you didn'r get a close up of the army men though :D :devil:

    I was surprised how small those shepherds were.... it was really amazing to watch! The whole show was amazing :)

    at the dog training we got a leaflet.....

    ....we entered cobi in some shows and we missed out as we were too busy with the display lol it was great to see the dogs in action, different compared to how u see it on tv.

    i think the army doesnt do public displays usually, they only done it in the memorial of a fallen soldier and his dog.

    Not sure about the police display though if they do it elsewhere too .... :D

    they had some really well trained dogs when i was in the forces.

    more aggressive than police attack dogs tho, i dont think they were so politically caring lol.

    we also had a dog as our mascot and had a donkey as well.

    the police dog was awesome trained.... it walked perfectly to heel and did all the commands perfectly and it also put his head on its own straight trough the collar when called back.... very impressive that was :)

    yes, it was fun and there were so many different dogs, i have seen the largest dog ever (grate dane) and the smallest ever, it was so tiny i was scared someone will stand on it accidently :blushing: :D it was the size of a kitten lol
