Are slugs poisonous to cats?!

Poor popcorn! And poor you. I don’t know much about slugs and cats but I would assume no harm done from the slug since she didn’t eat it? I did a quick google search and apparently it’s only slug deterrents (slug pellets) used that can cause harm to cats but you would see worrying symptoms like muscle tremors drooling etc within an hour, the only risk I see from cats eating slugs that haven’t been poisoned is parasites. Hope she perks up soon, it’s the worst when they aren’t themselves. Keep an eye on her for a bit and hopefully she will bounce back quickly with no harm done

I don’t know if this will help, but a little while ago kiki was playing with a bug and she started to act really strange, I went to see what bug it was and I had never seen anything like it so of course I panicked especially with the way kiki started to behave! Googled the s*** out of it to find its name, it was a western conifer seed bug apparently, and read that if they are handled roughly they will stab with their noses lol and emit a foul smelling scent as defense, neither of which is harmful usually- it did work, the bug was unharmed and Kiki was fine an hour later, but for a while she was acting odd and seemed sad. Hope popcorn will be ok soon with no harm done xx
