My 7 month old pup caught and ate a mouse in the park this morning.

Could this do him any harm?

He has been pooing ok, but seems a bit under the weather. We have had a hot day today, probably the first he has ever experienced, so that may be why he is a bit lethargic.

    Thanks in advance.

The mouse itself isn't a problem unless it has been poisoned. Parks departments do periodically put down poison. Keep a close eye on him just incase.

I was worried about Weill's disease. I have heard that a few local dogs have died from this after being in water in local parks.

Could this happen from eating a mouse?

Think its mainly a rat problem.....as they hang around the water.
