    Hello,

My and my dog are taking a drive from Exeter to Southampton tomorrow and Dorchester is the half-way point. Has anyone been to this or the surrounding areas? If so, could you recommend a good place for us to take an hours walk?

    Thanks,

    Gary :)

    Hi Gary,

Hope it is not too late before you leave.

Anywhere around Poundbury is good for a walk - coffee shops and garden centre to pop in as well. If you fancy something a bit more out in the open head for Maiden Castle - great views and your dog will love it.

Check out this link for more info - Dorchester area website.

    All the best,

    Dave Lakins

    HI,

Thank you for your replies. Where were you on Sunday eh?! :p

We managed to find some random bridle path on our drive which he enjoyed. He got to see his first horse! :) No idea where we were though!!!!!

I like that website. I'll bookmark that for the future.

    Thanks again. Gary :)
