I've got drakes for sale on pets for homes and when someone messages and says 'how much for the lot ?'....I'm worried they're just for meat rather than someone genuinely wanting ducks for pets/breeding etc.

Has anyone heard of this happening before ?

What to do ??....I need to get some money for them but don't want to sell to someone to eat....

Sell them singly and try to make sure the potential buyer wants them for the right reasons. Ask about there proposed accommodation, what experience they have caring for ducks, what they plan to feed them on.
In other words don't hand them over to the first person to offer money for them.:)
