Just wondering if anyone has sons/daughters in the forces.
My 21 year old daughter is in the RAF
My OH's Cousin is in the army, but i think he teaches I don't think he goes and fights.
My friend wanted to join the army, it was all he had planned to do with his life, then he crashed his bike and nearly had to have his leg amputated when he was 18 and now he's a barman in a pub.
My son is in the army but is home at the min because he disclocated his thumb during training and is having an op on 5th Aug
My sons friend is in the army goes to afganistan in september for 6/7 months he's on the front line, oh we are all dreading it.
My daughter is currently posted in Cyprus and will be doing her first tour of Afghanistan in December for 4 months. She's a Medic so will be close to the frontline & I'm so very scared
Hmmmmmm dont think i have right now, my cousin jean used to be in the army for years, before basra, and i had another 2nd cousin who is a commander and has his own ship in the navy! And my nephew bless him wants to go in the R.A.F.

It must be very scary but she is obviously doing something she loves!!!
I have a brother in the RAF and another brother who has just left the Navy. It makes me very proud that they have done the jobs that they have done
Yes, she does love it and I'm very proud of her. She always wanted to join and she stuck to her guns in spite of her friends saying she was daft!
