My OH's Cousin is in the army, but i think he teaches I don't think he goes and fights.

My friend wanted to join the army, it was all he had planned to do with his life, then he crashed his bike and nearly had to have his leg amputated when he was 18 and now he's a barman in a pub.

My daughter is currently posted in Cyprus and will be doing her first tour of Afghanistan in December for 4 months. She's a Medic so will be close to the frontline & I'm so very scared:(

I have a brother in the RAF and another brother who has just left the Navy. It makes me very proud that they have done the jobs that they have done :)

Yes, she does love it and I'm very proud of her. She always wanted to join and she stuck to her guns in spite of her friends saying she was daft!

Hope your sons op goes well tinamary, sounds very painful

This is Stacey on the day of her passing out parade
