Becoming a wandering nomad? it's what I aspire to do once I know enough in the way of survival skills which may take a while! The idea is to go into the wilderness and not come back, just live completely naturally off what the land provides.

Anyone else considered doing it? Anyone else already done it? Anyone else want to?

    Peace

Yep ive often thought about it. Must be very freeing to escape the modern world which often causes more heartache and stress than happiness. Have you ever seen the film: Into the wild?....great film although not such a great outcome sadly.

Fair play Bordie....it's totally different if your'e in the Army and far more dangerous. Plus you dont get to choose where and when you want to go to places. Mind you i bet it taught you some good survival skills. :)

Yeah i can understand that and its totally different from just travelling for fun. When your life is on the line it's a different thing altogether and certainly not something you could ever forget. ;)
