I used to and would like to catch up on who's doing what etc.
I sometimes handle them but only at the open shows got too many other breeds to handle at the Champ shows
Who do you handle for?
Linjor - Linda Major
Ooooo like her dogs! did she go in to another breed too?
She had a norwich over from America and also has goldens
Its been 10 yrs since I last showed a dog and am really out of touch with showing, do you know Jackie Hodge?, I used to have dogs from Bradking, Suleys, Flamboise, Angolcroft,Naiken, you know any of them?
Naiken the Hodges and Bradking have heard of know Bekki Hodge she is a lovely girl
He's Nunsbrook/Flamboise grandson of Jobeka Jasper yes did show him as a pup but he was too big! he did ok but was over the size limit in the end, didnt mind tho hes been a lovely pet dog.
right ours tend to be what they call the 'little brown dogs' or 'west country' but that is what I have grown up with as my parents have bred them for the last 43 years still got the same type now and wouldnt change
Cant beat a nice Golden or Lab eh? love em to bits one thing that does bug me tho is people who say " is that a long haired Labrador"
My mum has labs that i show sometimes. Not so much these days as im concentrating more on my pugs and basenji so they are mostly my mums pampered pets who just go out occassionally
Hi, whats your mums affix? maybe I might have known her
Nope! Although I thought I'd respond as I have two girls with a chunk of show breeding in them, particularly on the sire's side, Indie's sire is Foxisle Man of the Moment, and Tau's Nigabee Gyroscope. They both have a mix on the dam's side, including a teensy bit of working quite far back.
Happily, for me, Tau has an incredibly athletic frame, which suits what I want to do with working/competing her (if I ever get my act together), but then I've noticed some of the working chocolates coming through tend to be from Rocheby and Oakhouse, well those that I've seen in my internet trawlings that is.
Our affix is Silverbriar.
Our dogs are Charway/Ballyduff/Naiken lines
