If anyone has been following my posts, my dear Fanta had dead kittens today...

I have been advised, if we find foster kittens shortly, she may be able to feed them.

I would like something good to come from her and our loss, am willing to travel if necessary.

I have also contacted our local Cats Protection League....

Ask your vet, and other vets in the area. They may know of people whose mother cat died, or can't feed her kittens, or may be hand rearing kittens found abandoned by a feral who was disturbed at her nest. Bless you for thinking of how to turn bad luck into something positive.

Tried everywhere today but there appears to be no kittens anywhere near us at all, never mind ones needing a foster mum...

D'you think that Fanta is in good enough physical condition atm to feed kittens? Feeding kittens takes a heck of a toll on the mother cat (or foster mother cat). They need to be eating well to build up their strength or they will have problems providing enough milk. Lots of food and fluids needed to make milk :)

I don't think she is now and the milk has went off her very quick too.

I think you're right, and she needs to save her strength to get herself well again. :)
