We have two collies... One half bearded collie that is an absolutely incredible family pet as well as being a half-trained working dog. Too intelligent for her own good! Lol...

The other collie is a short-haired, fully trained, ex-hill sheepdog. We adopted her after she fell off the back of a bike and the fracture hadn't healed properly to endure a hill farm. Now she still gets to work but not enough to put too much pressure on her leg....

Brilliant. Any pics? We occasionally find a recommended lowland home for our older hill dogs who find the work too much but who still have plenty of work left in them.

I will try and put some photos of them on here....

The only problem we have with our adopted dog, Mist, is jealously. We did check before we got her if she was ok with other dogs and she was. However, I don't think she was ever used to the affection we give our pets. She had a lot of 'firsts' with us - first time allowed in a house (sometimes...), first time to get scraps etc. Now Mist struggles with understanding that we have enough love and affection for all our dogs. She has attacked one of our other dogs many times and now we have to keep them separate (we also have a lab and a spaniel, it is the lab that she fights with...).

Any suggestions on other ways to try and stop them from fighting? We do like to take all the dogs for family walks but have to do it in turns at the moment...
