I'm going to strip the rosehips from the common near my street-there must be about 20lbs of the massive ones. They're fab for the horse who has arthritis and also for the mil, ditto! Plus they're 20 times higher in vitamin C than oranges.

Anyway, question: do any of the main supermarkets sell muslin strainers? Rosehips need to be very finely sieved as the hairs in the hips irritate the digestive system so I want to ensure they are properly sieved before giving them to my mil. The horse doesn't care!

Rosehip jelly is delicious, only sad thing is it takes a huge quantity of hips to make a decent amount of jelly!
