Is it all OK, ie not blistering etc?

I work in ex boyf's parents restaurant and regularly get burnt on 200 degree fat, we run them under cold water then use bicarbonate of soda mixed with water into a paste, then rub it onto the burn. Yours is probably fine by now, but it has stopped some of ours from blistering when they have been over veins etc..!

Has it blistered and how big is it? Take some paracetamol and ibroprofen for the pain.

I'm sorry I can't help with advise for the burn but I thought it might cheer you up to hear that you're not alone.
A male work friend of mine recently spilt a mug of tea with water fresh from the kettle over his groin when he was wearing only his boxers. He was on desk duty for a week and has apparently been sitting down to go to the loo since he did it 2 weeks ago because certain things are still too tender to handle! Obviously, being in the military we were all very supportive.....once we had stopped pointing and laughing at him anyway!
