annoying! dog guard for car

    i went to argos today to buy a dog guard to put in my car, fixed it up then found out it doesnt fit!!!! i have a hatchback fiat punto and it says that it fits hatchbacks but doesnt fit mine!!!:mad: ive looked around and they all seem to be the same. dunno what im gonna do, train her to sit quietly on the passenger seat-- btw is that illegal?? if so i wont do it just i cant see her sitting still in the back

    Go to halfords they have a few different ones :)

    Pippin has a harness for the front seat. If there are two of us she sits perfect on the passengers knee!

    Id like to find a guard for the boot, but im finding it hard to as i have a Clio 182

    Not sure on the leaglities of dog in cars, but I guess its like having a child with you.

    Im gonna get a seatbelt harness for my JRT, I dont like the thought of dogs being in the boot.

    i had the same with my car, standard one will fit most hatchbacks, mine was not most, i ended up getting one specially for my car, sorry cant remember name of company i got it from, but if you do google search for dog guards for your make of car, should come up.

    We got ours in Halfords and its really good.
    Take it back if you are not happy with it.:)

    Barjo custom make guards to fit, or have them to fit most cars, but they cost a lot more than argos ones.

    There's nothing illegal about having a loose dog in your car without any sort of guard or restraint. However it would be stupid!

    It is Saunders dog guards i got mine from, yes bit more expensive than the standard fit ones, but at least it does fit your car, my was £30.00.
