ANNIE'S story is one of unbelievable cruelty, and shows what little regard some people have for animals. Annie came in to our rescue as a stray & we think she is about 4/5 yrs old. She had been tied to a tree, in very isolated woods, where nobody was likely to find her & left for dead. Fortunately she was found by a dog-loving member of the public, while out walking their own dogs. Annie was very emaciated & her paws were bleeding, and we discovered that the heartless people who had left her to die had actually pulled out some of her claws. Why - we don't know! She has grown into a really loving girl & likes lots of cuddles, despite her terrible experience with some of the human race, and will happily play with her toys, or go for a long walk, before cuddling down in her duvet (which she adores). Because Annie is a mixture of Bull Terrier & other breeds - she is not the most popular of breeds to find a home for, and consequently she has been with us for 2 years now, and we would really like to find her the home she deserves. She is a friendly, loving girl. Bright & intelligent, but her downfall is that she doesn't get on with other dogs, & is quite fixated by cats. She adores her humans - children & adults alike but really wants a big, warm duvet to snuggle down in, & somewhere safe to spend the rest of her days. If you would like to offer Annie a loving home, please call 0845 475 5958 or email: rehoming@animalrescuecymru.co.uk We rehome all over the UK and always carry out a home check before rehoming any animal.

We have tried her with other dogs in the kennels & some she seems ok with & others she grumbles at. A bit like humans really - we don't like all the people we meet. You could always come & meet her.
