I have just given my two an Anco Root each but they don't seem to know quite what to do with it. Mylo is sort of giving it a go but mostly carrying it around. Mia just keeps picking it up and then putting it down again and looking at it. What have other dogs done when they get given them?

Raven wasn't really interested in it at all! She sniffed it and walked off

Rossi started chucking it about a bit so I played with him for a few minutes and he took it of to his bed and starting chewing at it :)

They have both started to chew now. Mylo seems more interested than Mia she walks off then back and has another go. Thinking about it, Mia took ages to get going on her antlers too.

Well they have had them for a few hours now and chewed quite a bit but not constantly. A few fragments of the bark have come off but mostly they just look damp with a couple of teeth marks in. My two can usually destroy anything in seconds so they must be pretty tough.

I will charge the camera battery and try and take pics tomorrow. I gave mine (German Shorthaired Pointers) medium sized ones and they are about the size of a big mango and weigh just under 500g.

Never heard of these but Lahlahs website came up when I googled :)

Can I ask a stupid question - are they edible? Would it be a problem if a dog swallowed some?
