I was thinking of getting some algae eaters for my turtle tank and was wondering if anybody had added any to their tank and if so what kind.
was thinking of adding some or one of the following:

    cory catfish
    ghost shrimp
    ramshorn snails
    bristle nose plecostomus

Any hints, points or tips much appreciated

    Hello,
We had really bad algae in the summer and looked into getting some algae eaters. In the end we changed our mind and just got moss balls and they worked miracles. All the algae is gone completely and our musk turtles enjoy climbing on them so got a new toy as well!
