Looks like a lovely walk.
How long was it and how long were you out?

PS. be careful of the Game Keeper, disturbing his pheasants ;)
We were out for just over an hour, not sure how far we walked.

Aha, didnt even see the pheasants :| They just flew out the middle of the corn... made me and the dogs jump!

Great walk. Thanks for sharing it. It was really interesting; especially so when you live 12,000ish miles away and it looks very different from here.

I was born in Cheshire and the canal conjures up some memories of the canal near my grandmother's place (Manchester Ship Canal, near her).

Thanks.
