Ok we have discovered what Alfie tell us is his bestest toy ever!!!

Was my birthday at the weekend the big 3 0... so my parents did a birthday meal with special table decs and we bought home a champagne bottle of bubbles (you know the kids bubbles you blow...) well Alfie went mad for them!! He meows at the pot, meows at you if you aren't blowing them quick enough, meows at them as he bursts them and in general goes mad! So much so I had to buy him 2 pots while shopping yesterday as we'd used them all up!! Anyone else get that reaction to bubbles?? Alfie may now get an extra xmas present of a bubble machine!!

Are the bubbles dangerous if they get swallowed or cat safe?

They are just normal kid bubbles... I wasn't near a pet shop as would like to get him the catnip ones.... he's not eaten them he just pops them with his paw or nose.

Here's a video of the bubble beast!!! Sorry for the giggling that was me....

At the moment yes as we are in a flat and not really got room for another... as soon as we have a house however the OH will get pestered. I suspect it won't take much pestering though as we went to woodgreen at the weekend to drop in my end of year blanket, food and toy donation... I;d had the DO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH ANYTHING instruction and yet it was the OH that stood for 10 mins talking and fussing over one...

very sweet :D I love his little chirrups :)
I bought the catnip bubbles ages ago when Mai Tai was a kitten but she didn't seem too impressed :( Might try them out on our next kittens though ... or maybe even Miss Sahara :)

arthur loves bubbles too - he just can't figure out what keeps happening to them!

i bought him some catnip ones but wasn't very impressed with them - they seem like a thicker liquid and don't form bubbles very well.
