Merson was a bit put out when he had his done until I offered him his OWN ring donut - all to himself, no sharing with Oscar - and he quickly forgot about the 'other' thing. :D

Poor Alfie. Your post rang so many bells with us, and not just his name :)

You did the right thing, he'll be back to licking away in no time and you'll stop worrying about him in a day or two.

    He's very sweet btw.

Just got him home now. His eyes are all glazed over and he cant stand properly! Poor thing! He's settled down now and is going to sleep. Had to split up Alfie and Charlie, because Charlie wants to play and Alfie i dont think knows what day it is stil. They had to apparently give him a stronger sedative, which would explain why hes so out of it...

But he's home and im looking after him :D

In the last few months since he had the chop, Alfie has been a much more playful cat, not just with Charlie, but hes gone back to playing with his toys. Since we had Charlie he had stopped playing with them. Presumably because Charlie had taken them as his and he didnt want to share so just gave them away lol.

I love my little playful Alfie! Lol
