My plan is to use a crate for the kittens when they come home as I don't have a 'safe room'. It will be only be used (if necessary) when we are in bed or not at home.

I got sent a dog crate with an online order I made earlier in the year, and they never turned up to collect it I have just put it up to check the size but I think its too small once the litter tray is in it.

Please advise on a suitable size (with measurements if possible)

Hmm a bit too small I think.

I could lend you the kitten pen but you would have to bring it back and the petrol costs wouldn't be worth it.

My kitten pen is a bout 1.5m x 60cm

i also think this cage is too small. if you are anywhere near me i have a jumbo dog crate you could use.

It does dismantle - probably an idea to take it down when you are here though as I don't have the instructions any more.
