My plan is to use a crate for the kittens when they come home as I don't have a 'safe room'. It will be only be used (if necessary) when we are in bed or not at home.

I got sent a dog crate with an online order I made earlier in the year, and they never turned up to collect it  I have just put it up to check the size but I think its too small once the litter tray is in it.

Please advise on a suitable size (with measurements if possible)

Bonus pics of Willow and Holly checking it out :D

Hmm a bit too small I think.

I could lend you the kitten pen but you would have to bring it back and the petrol costs wouldn't be worth it.

    My kitten pen is a bout 1.5m x 60cm

That might work though, as we can always incorporate a visit to MILs when we return it which would make her happy :D

When will you be needing it again?

ETA: Unless you think Jennys is suitable?

I hope I'm not still using it by March

I was thinking I would be able to return it when we go to MILs after Christmas - maybe a tad ambitious?

Thank you Jenny, if the size is OK I would be really grateful.

    Where are you CC?

After Xmas would be fine if you are going to MILs anyway. It's this.

    CC is in Oxfordshire

Jennys would be fine if you used both I think - it's about 1.2 m

Well if you don't mind me borrowing it I would be really grateful.

Does it dismantle at all? If not it should go OK on D's roofrack I would imagine :)

It does dismantle - probably an idea to take it down when you are here though as I don't have the instructions any more.

It's where we want to be - just not sure where they will house us.

i had one of those, until my girl decided she was clever enough to keep unzipping the top and letting the babies out so donated it to charity. :)

Hubby is from Leeds so like Yorkshire, hate pork pies (devil's food)

No bases for us in Yorks/ Lincs that are near enough the kids schools.
