My girl had puppies last November. They all got loving homes but one was returned to us in May. She was with us for 3 months before I found (what I thought) was the perfect family. The lady seemed so nice that when she asked if I'd take half the asking price I agreed as I just wanted her to have her forever home. I had already asked that I have regular updates and if she ever felt she couldn't keep her she'd bring her back to me and she agreed. On the day she was due to collect she said she was £50 short and asked to be let off. I said she could pay it at a later date.
She seemed a lovely lady.
She text me the next day and told me my puppy wasn't a cavapoo (she 1000% is) and looks like one too. She said her nose was too big and she doesn't look like her friends cavapoo. I told her she's welcome to get her DNA tested. She asked for a picture of her mum so I sent one of the mum (my girl) and the puppy. She told me the puppy in the picture wasn't the same puppy?! Again, definitely is. She then asked me to let her off the £50 for a dna test. I said no.
She paid this eventually.
It's been just over a month since she's been gone. I've messaged a couple of times to ask how she's doing but only had one reply about 2 weeks ago when I asked if she still had her..she just wrote back no. When I replied and asked where she was n she should of come back to me, she said sorry that message was meant for my sister. Yes I still have her, she's fine.
She hasn't asked me to update her microchip etc. I feel she has sold her 😔my question is, do I have any rights? Can the micro chip company check the vets she's registered at? I feel so bad for her as I specifically said I didn't want her rehomed again, I'd rather of kept her myself.
I cant sleep worrying where she is. It's making me ill
