Looks like a claw has been torn out. He must be in quite a lot of pain. He will need the vet first thing in the morning. Is he eating?

I’d agree, the nail has been ripped out.

I would get her to a vet.

It must be very painful and looks swollen. Infection will be a worry so antibiotics and painkiller probably needed.

Perhaps ring the emergency vet for advice?

Agree with the others a vet visit is needed.
My lad damaged 2 of his claws last year, not as badly as that but I took him in to be seen just to make sure.
I was told to bathe his foot in a salt solution 3 times a day and to watch for infection.
