My puppy comes home in a week. He will be 8 weeks old and will have had his first vaccination. I already have a dog at home. Any ideas on how to introduce them? Harley(my older dog) is great with pups and other dogs on his walkies. Thanks

Really depends on the temperament of the existing dog.

If the older dog is generally ok, then it really shouldn't matter how they are introduced. With all of mine thus so far I've just taken the puppy straight through into the garden, put it down, and let the older dogs sniff it one by one so not to overwhelm it.

With a feistier dog then introductions are better done on neutral territory, although saying that even dogs that aren't 'good' with other dogs can usually recognise a puppy and that it's not a threat.
