I am writing a book about dogs and doing some research. I am a huge dog lover. Like to know what is the most popular breed in uk. How would you describe the personality of your dog? Such as loyal, moody, playful, placid or anything else. How often do you walk your dog? Once a day or more. Please can you share.

Hi there. I think labrador is possibly the most popular breed in the UK, or at least until recently. I read something recently saying that the French bulldog has taken over, but not sure to be honest.

My dog I would describe as loyal, happy and the best friend I could have ever wished for.

I'm not sure what would be the most popular breed in the UK. It would be interesting to see what dog breed is popular in the different regions. Where I live Springers and Lurcher types are the most common.

I'd describe Jasper as soppy, loving, a big soft nelly and a snuggle bum. Izzy as feisty, cuddly, ditzy, and a real clown who's also part goat.

What type of book are you writing?

I think the Border Collie is one of the most popular dog breeds in the UK.

    I have a Chinese crested

    He is

    A clown
    Cute
Stubborn / likes to work on his terms
    Nosey
    Gentle
    Playful
    Lazy indoors
    Busy outdoors
Quietly affectionate - he gives a lovely greeting, but often appears to prefer strangers. After the novelty wears off though, he will come and lie on my foot, any item of my clothing, and misses me if I leave the room without telling him.
Precious - will not sit on wet grass, hates rain, will not walk through puddles, on gravel or stones...
    Friendly
