Just took Kira on a trainin run on the bike, you shouldnt really run on pavement but its only on the way to and from the park (the whole length of the vid is the way back from the park)

Sorry half is on the side, but you get the idea lol, i was holding on with one hand

And a couple of pics, 1 in the park, and waiting to get a drink

ah, but the missing-strap is easily replaced -
just hand-stitch another one on, and if U want a buckle, they are available at sewing-shops -
or just buy a collar of similar color to her harness, with a buckle that U like, and cut the collar to stitch the ends
onto the harness - DENTAL FLOSS works really well. ;)

heat all cut-edges very carefully ==> outdoors, with a match or a lighter to melt the cut-edge; the handle of a teaspoon
can lightly press the hot-goop so that it is smooth + not sharp when it dries hard.
double-knotting + lightly back-stitching (thru the same holes) the stitching is another good idea -
majik-marker will color the floss to match the harness!

do U have a connector for the harness on the stem of the bike handlebars?
it looks as tho U are holding the harness in hand - which is dangerous, hun.
check the 3rd photo down, with the bike...

tell her *terry sent ya... ;) she has the best + least-costly GOOD gear that i know of; cheap lousy gear that is
badly made, does not last, fits poorly, etc, is not a savings, IMO. well-made gear that is durable, reasonably priced
and fits properly is EVERYthing - she does custom sizing. :thumbup1:

    happy joring,

no im not holding her terry, we have all the gear ;) we have a set of 2 dog racing lines with a bungee to take the edge off the intial pull, which goes around the frame of my bike

Dont worry... I do know my stuff ;)

The belly strap im not too bothered with atm, this is only a practice harness, come race season she'll be getting a brand new red one  :D

thank heaven  it was so angled that i thought it went to the right handle-bar, :D
i had visions of U riding with the bungee-loop around the handlebar itself!

one hand on the right handlebar, left hand holding camera...
glad to know i was only scaring myself ;) it looks like she had fun,
    --- terry

    PS -
LOTS of ppl here ride with the leash in one hand, or looped to ONE handlebar. :eek6:

Haha na I crap meself holding on tight with both hands! Taking that video was terrifying!!

We have a scooter aswell but I find the bike easier to handle, maybe its the weight of it.... Its also better as she needs to get back into condition so I help a little by pedelling

my cousin *cathy was bike-riding home when her FATHER (my *uncle george france)
    passed her in his car... she was riding NO * HANDS on the Lincoln Highway, in Phila, Penna;
a very heavily-traveled commuter highway with turns, drives, etc...

she was using both hands to hold a pizza flat in front of her,
so that she could not even see the gravel shoulder on which she rode.

she was bike-less for 2-weeks which meant having her mum drive her to the stables for her shifts -
she traded muck-out and grooming for riding-time.
her mother was not thrilled by this, and let her know it... :D

she did not do that again.

'easy' is not a command she's fond of....
