So the other week I was feeding my 5 year old female corn snake, I had her in a separate tub and was feeding her a rat when she went to strike my hand that was furthest from her instead of her food. Since then she's been very defensive all week and I could barely get her into her tub to feed her.

I havent made any changes to her home or anything like that. Is there anything I could do to re tame her? I just want to be able to hold her again with out being bitten.
