Stef's husband received the tribute book yesterday and asked me to thank you all so much for contributing and creating it.

He said it was a touching memento for him to keep. Also said; that it was a pity all these wonderful tributes could not be seen by Stef. However he was sure she knew how much she was valued and that she tried to get on the forum every day and felt guilty that she hadn't been on the forum when she was ill and unable to log on.

My response to him was that we were all so lucky to have met such a special lady. I know I am not alone in saying that I was pleased that we were able to pay our respects with the cat wreath, donate to Stef's charity and to send a tribute book to Stef's husband. Huge thanks to @NaomiM for creating the book

As @SusieRainbow has also said; its times like this I am proud to be a member of this great forum.

I'm so glad it arrived safely and that it's been well received by Stef's husband.

It was delivered quickly from the printers wasn't it... I only told James it would be on its way soon and it arrived the next day.
    A job well done Naomi.

Thanks @Annealise for the update, I'm pleased that the book is safely with Stef's family now.

Something happened last week and all I could think was, "Stef would know the answer". I do so miss her wealth of knowledge and guidance.

I was baffling over something too, this week and though the very same after I had to ring the specialist for advice and was none the wiser!
    Did you get it sorted?

Well our boy didn’t do the thing he did again...and I have my own thoughts about why, I’d just have liked Stef’s thoughts on it.

Thank you @Annealise for all you’ve done xx

I miss Stef so very much :(
It still feels so very upsetting to me not to see Stef’s name in any of the posts, to the point I find it hard to even come on here sometimes :(

She was such a huge presence on here, so very knowledgable, so very kind & so very patient, especially with any newbie’s asking for help.

I think it’s going to take a longtime to sink in that I won’t ever see her on here again.

Stef was truly a wonderful lady & I really miss her so much xx

That's so kind of you to say but I didn't do much. Just wanted the best we could do for a dear friend.

Yes Stef sure was a special lady. I am finding it difficult to accept she is no longer here. I miss her and our weekly chats. I understand what you mean by finding it difficult to come on here. You half expect a reply from her to someone's post on here as usual. I was having a recent cat situation where I was thinking Stef would know what to do, ( like others I should imagine) instead of having had a curt 5 mins conversation with our specialist.

I still truly think Stef is somewhere keeping an eye on all of us. After the Helix encounter at the chapel only the very next day I was out driving and thinking about her. Coming the other way was a car with the number plate S1 EFF and it made me smile.

I'm a great believer in this sort of presence, my dear mum has been around me at certain times and she had a very calming influence.
We haven't heard the last from Stef, she will keep on helping us and all the cats who need her.
