I can, but would it spoil the thread if guessed so early?
a dire need for athlete's foot powder??
Looks kinda like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland to me.
Darn, I'm rubbish at these
yes, it's a shoe we found last night, the moss had really gone for it, one in the eye for dirty fly tippers. I love seeing nature encroaching on man for a change
Lol! I saw a bunny face peering out.....obviously "seeing things"
I remember watching a doc on Chernobyl awhile ago and it was amazing seeing how humanity had b0lloxed up and nature had taken it back.
Ooh, I didn't realise there was a documentary about the wildlife of Chernobyl, it fascinates me what has happened there, there's supposed to be wolves, bears & massive catfish (not because of the raiation, but because there's no one there to fish for them) there, so much so that a couple of friends & I are planning on going there at some point to see it for ourselves
I wasnt going to guess because of seeing it on your facebook lol
I'm trying to remember when and where I watched it but it was a fair bit of time ago. Maybe an anniversary special or something? It was fascinating, seeing the husks of buildings with trees and plants growing through them.
I did find this whilst trying to track it down: Discovery Channel Chernobyl Life In The Dead Zone - YouTube
Does make me feel a bit about our species though. As soon as people are removed, the rest of the animals and their environment seem to thrive.
Was it Chernobyl reclaimed : An Animal Takeover , havnt seen it but from reading about its something id like to watch
That's the one in the link I posted above, does look good but I don't remember the bits of it I just watched. Everything else I've found so far is more about the actual disaster or the human cost (which are also fascinating and terribly sad).
I'll bet it was a flipping Newsround special or something, seems to be where I get most of my info from nowadays
Ooh it's the whole thing I've bookmarked that to watch later :thumbup1: at the moment I am trying not to distract myself from boring housework
Bunch of spoil sports.
Should have let the elderly and partially sighted have a go first, and give us all a giggle.
FYI, River Monsters recently did an episode at Chernobyl, and Radioactive Wolves is worth a watch if you can get hold of a copy.
It was probably purchased from 'Moss Bros'...
