A birthday present

    Elliot’s birthday is coming up soon and we always exchange gifts with his litter brother. I’ve just finished this crate quilt to send to him and my second attempt at a birthday collar.

    Thank you :) I started quilting at the start of the year but there’s only so many quilts you can make for yourself!

    I would love to make quilts to sell! Unfortunately the materials aren't cheap and they are very time consuming to make and people just aren't prepared to pay enough to make any profit from them (I've tried!).

    They're super. And you are clearly very clever.
    And what a lovely thing to do each year. :)
    I'm practicing straight lines and 1/4 inch seams with my new sewing machine at the moment, ready to start doing some quilts, and definitely want to have a go at the collars, I think they're a genius idea! I'm not doing terribly well though. :(
    I'll keep trying.
