My MTS kicked in again and I picked up a second hand tank a few days ago, from googling it looks like an Interpet Aquaverse 65L, which I figure is closer to 60L once substrate is added. The current plan is to go with my naturally soft water and set up a blackwater tank, with a decent sized shoal of some tiny fish. Top of the list at the moment is Ember Tetras, so I'm just wondering how people generally figure out how many fish is acceptable for a specific sized tank? How many Embers (or similar sized fish) would be ok in 60L? I probably won't be wanting to add any other fish as I'm quite keen on having just as big a shoal as I can of the one species. And maybe some shrimp for the bottom. What do you guys think? The tank has been scrubbed out and I've just painted a black background on today, so it's not set up or cycled yet and will be a while before it's ready for fish.
