    Hello @RichDevz and welcome :)

Wow, what a gorgeous little kitten! I think I'm in love! :)

I can see something of the Maine Coon about him e.g. the set of his ears, and the shape of his face, especially around the nose and mouth.

Was his mum a full Maine Coon ?

I do see some MC in him, around the ears and the set of the eyes I think. How old is he? He is absolutly gorgeous, what a little cutie!

Hi and welcome. He certainly looks like he has MC in him. That muzzle of his is definitely MC. I love his vibrant colour. He is adorableYogi in my signature is a Maine Coon. But he's not as big as he should be, because he was seriously ill as a kitten.

Possibly a bit but they usually have huge ears and big feet and I can't see any ear tips or fluffy toes. An MC should have a tail as long as it's back.

However he is utterly gorgeous either way. What's his name and how old is he?

Many call long hair domestics Maine Coon or Maine Coon mix, being a natural breed you will find moggies with a similar look. Without pedigree papers there is no way to know what the BYB's are breeding and charging people for.

I hope you were shown the health tests/scans for HCM, SMA and other required tests for the breed.

    He is gorgeous.

Usually they have big feet and a square almost boxy face. Ears are tufty .

Any breeder should vet check, worm ,flea and give him his first jabs. I know it's not popular to say but he can't be called a Maine coon. As long as you love him it doesn't matter. There are loads of cats advertised as half this or that. At the moment MC's are a money spinner breed. The breed are often linked to heart issues and hips issues.
Get him on some good protein wet food and he will be a star

Aww what a cute kitten. I was told my kitten was 3/4 MC when we had him. as you can see from my display picture, he is not a maine coon lol. he does have a very long tail and is a fairly big cat. but I think i was tricked somewhere down the line. oh well, he's here now and I wouldnt change him for anything.

Hes so relaxed and loving. Really calm kitten. Amazing little guy.

What is the average weight of a kitten. He weighed in at 1kg at 11 weeks.

I haven't got a record of Blues weight but fully grown MC cats need the bigger Advantage flea treatments as they weigh over 4 kg. Her pet name is Fatso but she is 100 lean.

I'd forgotten about that chart but Gracie is on there and she was 2.1 at 13 weeks if that helps. Boys are usually heavier than girls.
