Really sorry to here that your Misty is not well.
It is a heart breaking thing to have to go through.
You know that her time has come to go to the Bridge and being a loving pet owner you are doing the right thing for her.

You will meet up again one Day and until then she will leave you her special memories of her for you to keep.

Have a safe journey to Rainbow Bridge Misty xx

Thank you so much guys. She isn't in pain anymore.
Found out she was a "smoky tabby" (dark version)
She isn't in pain anymore and the vet was lovely.
When we got her home we had her buried in the garden.
One vet held her while the other injected her and while this was happening the vet holding her in place was stroking her under her neck. Misty was purring the whole time. I just can't get it into my head that she is gone. Been with us since before I was even born. I have to say having another cat at home made it easier and Prudence has been comforting us.
When we got her home I heard her cry one last time from rainbow bridge. I know this was a thank you as she went over rainbow bridge to tell all your loved pets about her amazing life and all her memory's.
